To our community:
We apologize to the LGBTQIA+ community, our fans, employees, and partners for inappropriate comments posted to TiMi Studio Groups’ Twitter handle last week. These comments do not align with our beliefs, culture, or values. They also do not reflect our respect and support for all members of our community, including the LGBTQIA+ community.
We want everyone to be able to play and enjoy our games. This means we embrace players from all backgrounds and aim to create an environment where everyone feels included. We also want TiMi Studio Group to be a place where everyone can thrive and a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to make great games.
We are firmly committed to these beliefs, which help us create better games that can connect with all players. Sometimes we fall short, as we did last week. We want our community to know how important this is to us and what we are doing to and ensure this does not happen again.
We’re taking a break from Twitter to ensure we are doing the right thing for our communities. We also want to improve the way we communicate our beliefs, culture, and values.
We are investigating the incident and have taken appropriate measures with the employee involved.
We are also reviewing our internal processes and will take action to ensure this does not happen again.
We apologize for this mistake and commit to doing a better job for all our communities in the future.
With your support and understanding, we will learn from this mistake, improve our processes and work to regain your trust.
